An invitation to savor food and wine ignites curiosity and excitement for what it will look like, what aromas will be breathed in, and what textures and flavors will greet an eager palate. 2012 Savor Sonoma Valley takes place March 17th – 18th, providing an unforgettable celebration of some of the best food, wine, art, and music Sonoma Valley has to offer.
The Heart of Sonoma Valley Winery Association presents this event featuring 21 wineries. The list of wineries includes Benziger Family Winery, Kunde Family Estate, Deerfield Ranch Winery, the shared tasting room of Muscardini Cellars & Ty Caton Vineyards, and more. Guests will meet winemakers and winery proprietors, sample new releases and award-winning wines, taste wines from the barrel, enjoy delicious bites paired perfectly with each wine, delight in the artistic works from local artists, and be entertained by live music.
Each winery will host a variety of special experiences to celebrate Savor Sonoma Valley. Audelssa Winery will offer tastings of their 2011 wines from the barrel along with their current release Bordeaux blends and varietals. Visitors to Audelssa will pair Audelssa wines with tasty pairings provided by ROSSO Pizzeria & Wine Bar. Visit Chateau St. Jean and discover their theme for this year through food and music. Chateau St. Jean will be sharing rare barrel selections as part of the celebration. Paradise Ridge Winery teams with The Girl & The Fig for a special preview and pairing of Paradise Ridge 2011 Monte Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon with Wild Mushroom Soup served with Crispy Sun Chokes and Crème Fraiche. Visitors to Paradise Ridge will be able to taste additional specially chosen wines.
