Alpha Omega Winery was created in 2006, when co-owners Robin Baggett and Eric Sklar took the first step to making a dream come true. Together they purchased a 12-acre property with a winery in Rutherford in Napa Valley and brought together a team that included Winemaker and General Manager, Jean Hoefliger, and consulting winemaker and master blender, Michel Rolland, from Bordeaux, France. Work began immediately to rebuild and remodel the tasting room while designing a modern, advanced wine cellar.
The updated winery is surrounded by vineyards, and mountains. The tasting room features many large windows allowing visitors to view the unique fountains, pond, and surrounding vineyards. The outdoor patio also overlooks this scenic view and features plenty of comfortable seating and a picnic area. Visitors can enjoy tastings daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or reserve one of Alpha Omega’s Private Tastings. Regardless of the tasting chosen, visitors will enjoy the friendly, knowledgeable staff and an unforgettable experience guided by the direction of Hospitality Manager, Erik Ackerman. Pure Luxury clients with groups of all sizes consistently rave about their visits to Alpha Omega.
Along with Mr. Ackerman himself and his staff, visitors are also amazed by the handcrafted, complex, and balanced wines created by Alpha Omega. The Wine Spectator gave 94 points to Alpha Omega’s first vintage of its flagship wine, ERA Napa Valley 2006. Alpha Omega’s world-class wines are a prime example of why Napa Valley is known world-wide.
