Alexander Valley is located at the northern end of Sonoma County. It is 22 miles long and ranges in width from two to seven miles. Of the 76,900 acres of land, 15,000 acres are planted to premium wine grapes.
Alexander Valley has diverse microclimates that support the growth of many wine grape varieties. Primarily known for its high quality age worthy Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Alexander Valley also produces wonderful Chardonnay, Zinfandel, and Sauvignon Blanc. Available as a private custom tour.
