The Sonoma County Vintners and Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers have teamed up again to present what has become known as one of the nation’s top three wine charity fundraisers! Sonoma Wine Country Weekend celebrates the world-renowned wine of Sonoma County and the incredible local cuisine that together make Sonoma County such an incredibly popular destination for wine-lovers and foodies! This three-day event also benefits local Sonoma charities.
Big Bottle Barn Party at Atwood Ranch
Thursday evening brought together the sponsors of the event, and their guests, to celebrate with some of the distinguished wine and food of Sonoma at the Big Bottle Barn Party at Atwood Ranch. Once again, Julie Atwood Events created an inviting atmosphere that welcomed guests to enjoy a bounty of Sonoma wines and special bites created by the talented chefs at Lodge at Sonoma. Guests sipped on sparkling wines from Gloria Ferrer, Merlot’s from Gundlach Bundschu and Muscardini Cellars, Pinot Noir from Benovia Winery and Davis Bynum, and many more!
A Peek at One the Many Delicious Bites Prepared by Lodge at Sonoma
Delicious bites included specially prepared dishes from Lodge at Sonoma including Buttermilk Fried Quail and Waffles served with Golden Raisin Compote, Green Tea Steamed Salmon served over Carrot Ginger Puree and Sticky Rice with Dandelion Sprouts, Sliders with your choice of a Falafel or Chicken or pulled Pork, and an outstanding selection of desserts!
Poolside at Francis Ford Coppola Winery
Friday evening’s Sonoma Starlight at Francis Ford Coppola Winery took place poolside on the beautiful outdoor area of the winery. Guests were welcomed with a Sparkling wine reception before enjoying the offerings from 25 local wineries pouring wines to use to create their favorite pairings with mouthwatering wine country cuisine. Dinner was followed by dessert, coffee, and dancing live music.
