In the heart of Sonoma Valley, located off a main road, is Landmark Vineyards. Easy to find but removed enough from traffic, the beautiful location of this winery invites guests to enter and stay awhile.
There are many lovely options for guests to enjoy Landmark Vineyards’ critically acclaimed, handcrafted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines. These wines are not to be missed! Landmark Vineyards’ signature wine, Overlook Chardonnay, has made the distinguished The Wine Spectator Top 100 list seven times in the past 17 years. The winery itself was built in the Spanish mission style. Highly esteemed Landscape Architect, Morgan Wheelock created the outstanding scenery against the view of Sugarloaf Ridge and Hood Mountain.
Inside the tasting room, visitors can enjoy a tasting at the Tasting Bar with a knowledgeable host. Now until October 12th, if you visit on a Saturday, you can enjoy a complimentary Horse-Drawn Carriage Tour that provides a unique way for guests to learn about what goes into growing the grapes on Landmark’s estate vineyard and the techniques used for winemaking. Or, call ahead to reserve something a little more special.
The Landmark Vineyards Estate Tour and Tasting features a visit throughout the estate including their organic vineyard. The Varietal Seminar offers an in-depth adventure of Chardonnay or Pinot Noir. If you give at least 24 hours notice, the staff at Landmark Vineyards can arrange a picnic lunch for you to enjoy at any of their numerous picnic tables which also includes a Signature Flight Tasting in their Tasting Room.
No matter what type of tasting or tour visitors choose, there are plenty of tables to relax at while sipping your favorite Landmark Vineyards wine and taking in the view. There’s also a Bocce Ball court for any visitors interested in a leisurely game among friends.
